Christmas Letter 2010

Dear Loved Ones,

One of my favorite parts of the holiday season is thinking of each face as I address and mail out our Christmas cards. Some of the cards go to people we haven’t seen in many years, yet we still cherish and remember the friendship and memories. We love you and wish our paths crossed more often!

To catch up a bit, here are some highlights from this year:

Mike—self employed small Physical Therapy business owner, early morning seminary teacher, handy remodeler to our “new” ‘50s house, bought a surf board, misses sleep & leisure time, continues to be an amazing husband and dad.

Luke—turned 6, started 1st grade, played T-ball and hockey, baits his own hook, lost 5 teeth, recycles for cash, favorite subject is math, loves outside wilderness adventures in our yard and beyond.

Aaron—turned 4, started preschool, learned to whistle and cart wheel, keeps up with Luke on most everything, enjoys learning his letters, hates days we can’t go to Disneyland, loves to ride his 2 wheeler and trips to the park.

Owen—turned 3, started preschool, makes up his own songs and sings them, loves to help mom in the kitchen, is the toughest kid on the playground, continues to melt the hearts of all who know him.

Jessica—juggles and supports the above activities, works on house projects, is learning medical billing to help Mike, keeps up the blog, volunteers a little, tutors a little, quilts a little and loves swimming outdoor year round!

We are opening our hearts once again to another family member (female we all hope!) through the miracle of adoption. You may know that our boys have come to us through friends, acquaintances and internet connections. If you know someone looking to place their baby in a loving adoptive family, we hope you will remember us. Heaven works miracles through people—we have seen that first hand. We are so grateful for our children.

We hope this card has found you well and you are enjoying the magic and joy of the season. We wish you the very best in 2011!

Much Love,
Mike, Jessica, Luke, Aaron and Owen
