Olvera Street

Aaron has the coolest preschool teacher ever. Most kids have been in a car and maybe a plane, but buses and trains, not so much. So since their class is studying transportation, she planned a field trip.

First a bus ride.

Over to the train station. Coolest arcitecture I've seen in quite a while.

We took the train to LA--destination Olvera Street, a historical strip where Hispanic shops and vendors sell things. Not to metion there's many delicious Mexican food spots. So we had lunch together. Carne Asada burrito heaven. Diet Coke with lime. Mmmmm.

Yeah, it was pretty great day.

Aaron especially loved his train conductor hat and his self made transportation t-shirt.
