Happy Birthday Aaron

Isn't he handsome?

And he's got skills too. He can ride a 2 wheeler with out training wheels. But that's old news--he did that right after his 3rd birthday. He can also whistle and carry a tune. He can run almost as fast as big brother Luke and can run and run and run forever with little sign of fatigue. This last year of his life went by in a blink, but he sure acomplished a lot and is turning into quite the grown-up boy.

I feel a little bad, but by the 3rd summer birthday, I'm a little burned out on birthday parties. So Aaron got exacly what he wanted--a blue boogie board (Luke got an orange one that he thought was SO cool) and a beach party with chocolate donuts. He chose all the guests and I think he had pretty good taste on that.

The blue boogie board came in pretty handy with trying to keep those candles lit. It also helped that dad was using one of those new torch lighters.

He was sure to make his wish and keep it a secret--much to his brothers' dismay.

These cute girls drove down from LA to meet us for the day. I'm so glad they did. I love getting a healthy dose of girl time every now and then.

I think Aaron had a pretty good birthday. A happy chocolately, sandy smile.

He also got a second chance at the candles 2 days later when Grandma got back from a reunion trip.

Pool party and cupcakes for Family Home Evening with Grandma and Grandpa.

Happy Birthday Aaron!!
