One great thing about summer is it's a great time for day trips. One great thing about living near LA is there are fabulous museums and they all usually have a free day every month. Last week we hit two of them with my cousin Christina and her very cute girls.
Real dinosaur bones!!

Polar bear. Hard to see him through all the finger prints on the glass. ( =

I was the only one what made the height requirement for this one and was also brave enough to give it a try. ( =

It was a very long way down. It was pretty safe though, nets and a counterweight under the bike. My boys were very very impressed.

Wind tunnels make for much better pictures if you have long hair.

It was hard leaving the Arctic room on a warm summer's day. The snowmobile wasn't helping either.

The boys really liked the desert room. They got to see the under ground tunnels animals dig to stay cool. Now they know what all those holes in the ground around here are for.

The fish tank was amazing. There were even scuba divers swimming around in it. Sharks too!

Don't get stung by a jelly--dude!

There was even more fun on the way out to the parking lot. Use the lever and pulleys to lift a truck!

Thanks for a great time Christina! Can't wait for next time.

Looks like a super fun museum. Has Luke shot up a ton?! He looks so tall towering over his brothers in that first pic. Owen looks so much taller too. Time flies way too fast.
What a fun project and I'm sure they will love their new swing!
