Last Reunion Day Burr Oaks State Park

I woke up early and the house was still and quiet. My nephew Tyler and his dogs, Diesel and Hobbs, slept out on our 3 seasons porch. It made me happy to see them all curled up out there.

After a nice long bath in a real bath tub, I got the kids up and ready for pictures. (Looking forward to editing and posting those!)

Next Susan and I packed up our families for the lake and then headed to the laundromat. It was 20-30 away. It was a great time. Gosh I love Susan. ♡

Sonic was just down the road. I had a mint oreo blast, onion  rings and a lime diet coke. (All junk in their purest form) Susan had fried cheese sticks and a blue raspberry with pop rocks.  Something new to me that I know my kids would go nuts for.

Susan and I talked about kids, husbands and in-laws, schools, neighborhoods, retirement,  our kids getting married, it was a lovely chat session.

The laudromat had interesting facilities. They chained the toilet paper to the hand rail. Made me grateful for my washer and dryer at home.

Jimett asked us to pick up the cake at the store while we were in town. She clearly described the cake she ordered and gave me a paper with tall the details written on it. And cash.

Let me assure you this was NOT the cake she ordered. We tried the best to have them fix it, but it only got worse. Ultimately we got the cake for free.

I took some fun pictures of the party that night. I will have to add them later.
