Crawfordsville, IN to Nauvoo, Il

Although the KOA was super nasty smelling, the landscape was as good as it gets. I woke up early to shower for church and caught this sunrise.

Then on my walk to the :shower house" I spied these flowers along the way.

When I got back to camp the boys were in love with this leaf looking insect called a katydid. It churped like a cricket but looked like a leaf.

We drove 5 minutes to the church, a cute little branch meeting in a half size building in the middle of a corn field.

Ann and John met us there for church. The kids got to sit next to Rachel and Nathaniel.

Next more goodbyes and on to Nauvoo. We stopped at Steak and Shake for lunch. Chocolate fudge brownie shake. It was most certainly the best shake I have ever consumed.

We got in and set up camp, ate and went down to watch a show. It was so well done. I would have paid $50 a ticket to see it. I was so grateful to hear such a great message, so we'll done at such a gorgeous venue.
