I just go the call today that Luke was accepted into Ready Start Preschool!! I applied in the Spring, but thought he wasn't going to get in. But he did! I've been running out of activities and things for Luke to do. (I won't get into the jello jiggler-cookie cutter mess this morning) This will be half of everyday filled with hands on learning!
Ready start is a state funded preschool that really tries to prepare kids for kindergarten. They have a great student- teacher ratio and a mix of really solid kids to lead the way (Luke) and kids with special needs. They only accept 24 kids per year in our part of the district. It's everyday all year long. They pick him up at our driveway and drop him off after. He is going to love it. His good friend William is going too. And did I mention it is free?
This is such good news. I might be able to go to Costco with only 2! This drops 45 lbs. off the weight of my cart!
