Built in Best Friend

These days I am loving that these two are 10 months apart. It wasn't so fun when I had to spoon feed them both, or carry them both in and out of everywhere, even worse when they were both sick. But now I have to say, I am loving that they are so close.

When we were considering adopting them, I wondered if they might feel like they didn't belong or that they were different. But the answer came that they would have each other. I believe Heaven knew what good friends they were and would become. They play all day everyday together and are the best of friends. Every squabble or disagreement ends in a hug or a "lets just forget it and play" conclusion. It's precious.

I can't tell you the number of times I find them sitting next to each other in this rocking chair rocking and singing.

And when asked to hug for the camera . . .

. . . not a problem--happy to.

THats exactly how I feel about the Dan and Ben!! Stressful and not fun at times having twins but they are such good friends. They hate not being together!! Your boys are still as adorable as ever!

i love this! i have to admit, on days when it is hard having our babies 2 months apart - i remind myself how it is soo cool that they will always have each other, a play mate and a best friend - we like to say they are "spirit twins" haha - because you can just tell they knew each other before. they belong together, as i'm sure you feel about your boys. how special!!!!!
