Singing my Life

Have you ever heard a song and then it seemed like it just fit a situation at the time? And then years later you hear it again and then it sends you right back to that same point in time and you remember everything you where thinking/doing/feeling?

For example, I can't ever hear "Rock Lobster" by the B52s with out thinking of a stake dance. Bob Marley always reminds me of my HS friend Cameron and driving around in her car. "Somebody" by Depeche Mode reminds me of the first time I danced with Mike at a Wilkinson Center dance. Mike told me he had never heard it before and I remember thinking, Who Are You? Where Do You Come From? (Still working on aspects of those questions.)

Anyway, you get the idea. Well here is the song I've got stuck in my head lately. It reminds of life right now and the unfortunate (hopefully just a few) weeks that Mike will be in CA and I will be here and on the road with the boys. But the happy ending is eventually we will all be back together near the deep blue ocean . . .

And really I don't count it as Lucky, but more as Blessings, but whatever. I don't listen to Christian rock, so there you go.
