It was really good. Too bad the kids were so tired they fell asleep before it was finished. More for us--haha!
Here's the recipe. I'm sorry to say it's not diet friendly, at-all.
Homemade Chocolate Frosty Ice Cream
1 lb Milky Way Bar (I use the little ones, they melt faster)
3/4 C Hershey syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 quart Half and Half
1 quart Heavy Whipping Cream
2 eggs
Milk
Melt Milky Way bars in a sauce pan stiring slowly. (careful not to heat too fast or burn it.) Stir in Hersey syrup and sweetened condensed milk. Stir until smooth. (At this point you may be tempted to drink it, resist.) Pour into freezing container, add half and half and cream and stir. In a small bowl beat eggs with a fork until they are thoroughly mixed. (You can skip the eggs if you want, but they give it a nice texture and they make it freeze better. We've never gotten sick over it and we do this A LOT. Besides Hagen Daz does it too.) Pour eggs into freezing container. Add milk to the fill line and stir it all together. Then freeze. Don't forget the rock salt, the more the better.
Make sure you eat it with your feet up as the sun is setting, it's perfect.

Hello. Deliciousness.
That looks so yummy. I wonder if my mom still has her ice cream maker....hmmmm....
Seriously? Why must you tempt me so?!
Oh my gosh... that sound wonderful.
It doesn't help that milky ways are my favorite candy bar and that I haven't had one in almost a year. Yummy!
Hope you have a super weekend!
