Beat the Heat

It's been record hot here, in the 80's for 5 days straight. I am in heaven. The locals are dying. Mother Nature has also broken her record of days with out rain. I couldn't be happier. We turned our "hot tub" into a "cool pool." So now it's little boy friendly for the summer. They love it a lot. There's not many activities I love more than those that involve water so we're all happy.

What's better than playing in the "cool pool" with your boys? Having a break while someone else with more energy plays with your boys. ( = People ask me how I keep up with my boys. Well, here's a secret of mine. His name is David. He's my cousin's son and he comes once or twice a week to rough house with the boys and wear them out for bed time. He is one of my most favorite people, but I think the boys might even like him more than I do.

(Luke just did a cannon ball off the side, I missed him in the air, but got the splash.)
