So the other day at Safeway the pharmacist said, "you have an 80 cent credit towards your next power pump." I didn't say anything and just kind of looked at her like, yeah, whatever that means. She said, "You should really use this, it's 80 cents off per gallon and it expires on Tuesday." So now I was interested. "Where is a Safeway gas station?" Bellevue. Not a place ai go everyday, but the drive might be worth it at that price. Apparently all the money I have been spending at Safeway has given me gas credits. Cool.
So today I had errands to run and I went. (Unfortunately I had all three boys and wasn't able to hit the great fabric store next door.) There was a crazy line, but I filled up my tank. What a deal! I still have $30 left at that rate. So if you're going to Bellevue tomorrow, let me know. You can borrow my card. ( = Our tanks are full.

wow, who would have thought you could ever get gas that cheap again!!
I am on my way! lol...
ok it might not be cost productive from the Bay Area..lol..but that is very cool...
we are at 3.53 here in the east bay in Northern Cal. Most of the bay Area is VERY expensive still but we are far enough inland to actually get a halfway decent rate.
