My long time very good friend Jeanette got married this weekend. I met Jeanette in summer of '92 when we were both working at Canyon HS pool. We have stayed in close contact over the years and now we are both here in Seattle. No one could hope for a better friend. She and Matt have been together for a long time, 8 years I think. They have a baby on the way due the end of the year. This is all so wonderful and exciting. I am so glad to live close and get to be a part of everything. You would have never guessed she was pregnant in her dress. She is 4 or 5 months along and has barely a bump. Jeanette asked me to give her toast at dinner, I was nervous since I had never done that before. But it went well, she liked it so that's all that mattered to me.
Here are some pictures of the quilt I made her as one of her gifts. Not my best one ever, I'm limited on time, but colors she has in her house and of coarse yellow--our favorite.
