Mike's New Job

May 12th Mike started a new job at ProSports Club in Bellevue. He had been working as a clinic manager and Physical Therapist for Apple Physical Therapy. He started their clinic for them from scratch and built a very good patient base, he was seeing 16 patients a day. The new job at the Pro Club is much less stress. He works 4 ten hour days with Friday's off, and he is just a PT, no other responsibilities, just treat patients. The pay is slightly more which is always good. It's also a little bit shorter commute. He sees mostly sports injuries which is his favorite and his specialty. The only hard thing is he is gone long days Monday - Thursday and I really miss his help at bedtime. But 3 day weekends are a nice to look forward to.

The best perk is we both get memberships to the club. Now you may be thinking cool a gym membership, but this is not just a gym. It's a 270,000 square foot Sports Facility. They have an auto salon, a people salon, a spa, saunas, whirlpools, free tanning, a few restaurants, 4 swimming pools, dry cleaning, 120 personal trainers on staff, a retail store, you get the idea. Mike doesn't take anything but a change of clothes when he goes to work out, they provide all the shampoo, soap, shaving cream, razors, deodorant--can't forget that, and towels you want. This very much appeals to Mike's cheap side. He said, "Think of all the money we will save on soap!"
