Luke turns 4 today. We had his first traditional invite friends play games party on Friday. It was a lot of fun. We went to the fire station for a visit. Then we came back to our house and played games in the yard. We played "Put Out Your Neighbor's Fire" (basically stomp and pop the red balloon tied to your friend's ankle), "Pin the Tail on the Dalmatian," and "Fire Hose Practice." The best part of the fire hose practice was when cute sweet Josie shot Mike in the pants. He still has his work clothes on, it was pretty funny. We had corn dogs, and cupcakes instead of cake and ice cream. I was trying to keep it simple instead of messy. Then presents and then of coarse the fire truck pinata to finish the party. I am pretty sure Luke's favorite part was the presents.
All three boys took naps after. It was a good day.
