Memorial Day Beach Weekend
This weekend we went to the beach--the real beach, the ocean--sand, fresh clean pollen free air, complete with pounding surf. We stayed at good friends' beach house in Long Beach, WA with 7 other families. It was a little like camping with tents and RVs on the lawn and just two bathrooms, but no one seemed to mind. Although the water was cold, Luke didn't seem to care and had a great time playing tag with the waves. Aaron's favorite was digging with shovels and buckets, and Owen, a recent crawler, loved exploring the taste and texture of sand. When the fog rolled in we went back to the house for the water slide and wading pools. Mike and I enjoyed the company of good friends, a little beach volleyball and football, and a new game--coob. There are few things a day at the beach cannot fix. It was a much needed break from the routine. We came home tired, but recharged.

Awesome!! Love your pictures and you look beautiful. So glad you have a blog.
I'm so glad to see more pictures of those boys. Luke is such a beautiful little guy and Aaron and Owen are so cute! I love the self portrait, if it weren't for those there would be no pictures of moms. How do you keep looking so good when you are so busy?! Precia

We love being the Aunt and Uncle and seeing the next generation growing up. You were a darling little girl, an awesome teenager (saving for the amazing convertible!) and a beautiful mother who knows what's important.
Love to you all!
