Here's how it went.
Friday
Started off with the boys coming home with adorable Mother's Day cards and gifts for me.
Helped pack up the boys for a camping trip with Mike.
All boys left, leaving the house clean, quiet and peaceful for the next 24+ hours.
I finished my mom's gift--a photo bracelet of her grandmas, her mom, her sister and her daughters. Turned out great.
Had Frozen Yogurt for dinner and went to see Water for Elephants--something Mike would NEVER watch.
Came home, soaked in the lavendar bath salt tub while listening to Jack Johnson channel on Pandora--in a quiet house.
Went to bed and fell right asleep.
Saturday
Woke-up on my own with no demands from anyone.
Took the dogs for a walk. Got dressed and even put on jewelry!
Worked on sewing a skirt--for myself!
Amy and Mom came over and we headed out for pedicure in amazing massage chairs.
Then we went to lunch--panini's and salad. Yum. Thanks Amy!
Came home and sewed a little more on my skirt. Thanks to a fashion consult from Amy and Mom, skirt turned out very cute.
Left and met Mike and the boys at Luke's baseball game. Perfect baseball weather.
Came home and changed, helped unload the car (and new pet tadpoles)
Went to my parents for Porky's Pizza with my cousin Morgan and family, down from Utah.
Came home, Mike put the boys to bed.
Watched a movie--Morning Glory and went to bed.
Sunday
Breakfast in bed:
Luke picked the roses from the garden. Each boy picked me out a mini yankee candle. Mike bought new plates to match the future new kitchen. Love them. Denver Omlette with avocado. Naked Green Machine Smoothie. Delicious.
Next Church--more love, chocolates and roses.
A nap
Mike cooked dinner and made our favorite dessert from our favorite resturant in grad school. Nailed it too. So yummy--raspberry white chocolate mouse.
Met up with the local family for dessert at my Aunt and Uncles.
WOW! Such a great weekend!
