As of today we have everything scheduled and on the books for finishing our fost-adopt certification! Yay! We should be all done by the end of July, maybe sooner. So in theory a baby could be placed with us anytime after that.
We have limited ourselves to a baby girl and younger than Owen (who will be 4 soon). We would like an infant, but are open to toddlers too.
For those of you outside the adoption world it may seem weird to have a shopping list of sort for a child, but I assure you it doesn't feel like that. We have spent countless hours considering what Heaven has in mind for our little family, prayers, pondering, more prayers. We've also considered what we can do and what will be best for the children we already have. We know that by giving this information to the social workers we are helping them find our next child.
Augh! Stressful and exciting all at the same time!
