Do you have trouble keeping your toddler safe while you sleep? Have you ever found him in the kitchen at 2am with a knife? Attempting to peel an apple? Thanksgiving weekend Owen just wanted a 24 hour feast and would not stay in his bed at night. It was kind of scarey. So we bought and assembled some bunk beds.

The thought was he would not be able to get down from the top bunk with out the laddler, but we were very wrong. So we had to get a little more creative. We built up the sides with boards and zip ties.
He seems to like his bed. It's him own little space than no one else can get into but him (with some help from mom or dad). And once again I can sleep again knowing he's safe and sound in his bed.
And yes, he has the best bed head of anyone I know.
