Disneyland in the Rain

Our very good friends from Seattle came down for a visit and brought the rain with them. They bought a 6 day park hopper, but didn't use all the days due to the rain. They were super generous and gave us their extra tickets. It was a great day to go--not too cold, not too wet, and best of all short to no lines.

The favorite ride of the day was Astro Blaster. It was my first time ever going on it, it made me wonder what other rides I have been missing at Disneyland. We must have rode it for over an hour over and over and over. Everyone gets a gun and you try to shoot Zurg, helping Buzz Lightyear.

It was a winner with even the big boys.

They decorate Disneyland so well for Christmas. It's almost a totally different place. We went on It's a Small World, the decorations were amazing. And it wasn't all that annoying since they mixed in Jungle Bells with the regular "It's a Small World" mind numbing melody.

Here's a video of our carosel ride. The boys were in heaven all day and ask all the time when we are going again.

At the end of the day--this little guy fell asleep inside my jacket and snored all the way home. Everyone slept hard that night. It was a good day.

Thanks Doug and Meg! Our day at Disneyland helped me in my quest to talk Mike into annual passes for us. ( =
