In the Christmas Spirit

Mike and I got away this week and went to the OCPAC (Orange County Performing Arts Center) to see the OCMCO (Orange County Mormon Choir and Orchestra) perform their Christmas program, "Come Ye to Bethlehem." Segerstrom Hall is amazing. The sound is unbelievable--I could clearly hear each instrument and even the parts in the choir. The hall was built for sound and it was the best I have ever heard. Thanks for the early Christmas present Mom--it was awesome.

They had several different choirs of all different ages (4 on up to seniors) singing all different songs, even some from Nigeria and various countries around the world. They had two little girls probably 3 or 4 sing solos, it was the cutest thing ever. When we live closer to Mike's work we will be closer to their practices, maybe I will have to start taking the boys. It would be a great thing for them to be a part of--we will see.

They have another performance March 31st. Is it too early to hint for birthday presents? They also just released their first CD, an Easter CD. I'd love to hear that too.
