Luke and Mike's First Time Skiing

The house is quiet. Everyone is asleep. And of coarse on a Saturday, I'd love them to all stay that way as long as possible. So I am a quiet mouse blogging and blog reading. ( = Yesterday we went to our friend's cabin. And yes there was snow. A lot of it, higher than the car. We were driving through a snow maze. The cabin was very nice and I enjoyed sitting and chatting with friends. The scenery was gorgious through the windows. Didn't feel much like Spring, but we were making the most of what we have.

Mike and Luke went skiing, a first for the both of them. And of coarse they were both really good at it. I was not at all surprised. They are both a little a like--coordinated, determined, speed seeking dare devils. They fell a lot and wiped out worse that I probably did on my first (and last) day of skiing. But they loved it. Here some shots. My camera battery died so Mike took some shots on his phone.

Who knows, maybe next week it will be the Easter Bunny and the Bunny Hill?!

Seriously, how cute is Luke on his little baby skis? Everyone said he did really good. Like I said, I'm not surprised. He's got amazing balance and is good at just about anything physical.

Doug, Emily and Ellory arrived late last night, at 2am, Mike just told me. Can't wait for them to wake-up! More posts from their visit coming soon. ( =
