Feelin' the Love

Yesterday was a pretty great day. Lot's of prep went into it. 64 bombs for Luke's huge class. But he loved the project and making something special for his friends. (Thank you Pinterest for the cool idea.)

I made lunches the day before so I would have time to cook an extra special breakfast for my loves. (Again thank you Pinterest for the cool idea.) This was a super easy and relatively healthy way to say I love you first thing in the morning. I got lots of "You're the best Mom ever", so I'd say it went over well.

For my sweetheart, I made a super cheesy lunch, complete with custom made fruit leather fortune cookies. He never has time to eat his whole lunch, but he did at least read it all. Haha.

He spoiled me this year with tickets to Wicked and one of my favorite restaurants, Maggiano's. So many great memories there. And he is so smart, it's a few weeks out, so I have plenty of time to look forward to it.

This lady won the most adorable award this year. Oh my goodness she is so cute. And more fistey everyday. She knows what she wants and you are going to get it for her!

I took her to Owen's kindergarten party and she sat in the "throne" next to the teacher for story time eating her lollipop. No one listened to the story, they all just watched her.

She wished she could be in Owen's class. Someday, my sweet.

This was the heartmelting moment of the day. I caught them out the window, all together, enjoying their love loot and sharing with their baby sister. So sweet.

I didn't take any pictures of the sugar meltdowns that happened later that night. Or the hangover-withdrawls we had this morning. Nope, this post is about all the love and sweetness of the day. And it was a pretty great day. Hope you had a nice Valentine's Day too!
