This weekend I got to watch 3 movies! Crazy huh. I never get to do that. Friday night Mike and I went out after the kids were asleep and saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Saturday Mike and I watched Marley and Me during quiet time for the boys, and Saturday for a friend's birthday girl's night we saw Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past.
My favorite of the 3 was definitely Marley and Me. I bawled and bawled and then after it was over I was still crying. It was pathetic. The movie was really good, especially if you like or really like dogs. But it is not for the weak. I guess I was too weak.
Next favorite would have to be Wolverine. I didn't think it was as good as the X-Men movies, but it was still really good. I really liked getting to the bottom of the character, Wolverine. There was a lot of "so that's why"s for me. I thought it was very entertaining and Hush Jackman did not disappoint.
And surprisingly to me my least favorite was Ghosts from Girlfriend's Past. I'm used to Matthew McConaughey being a womanizer, but this one was just a little to over the top sleaze for me. Kirk Douglas did a great job of playing an old creepy slime ball. The overall message of the movie was very positive. And last, in the end I think Jenifer Gardner's character should have been a lot harder on Matthew McConaughey's character. Seriously.
So there's my weekend movie review. Seen any good ones lately?

Good for you! I bawled at Marley and Me, too. I really want to see X-Men. It is good to hear you liked it. I heard the Earth movie was good, but I haven't seen it.
