What is it about cousins that is just so great? Perhaps it's family members in common? Or common experiences? Perhaps its because your parents parent the same way? Maybe it's because you see them on special occasions where there's good food and plenty of treats? Not sure exactly what it is that makes them so great, but they are. Some of my most favorite people are my cousins. And many of my most favorite memories are with them.
Guess that's one reason this day made me so happy. I was with my cousin and my boys were with their cousins. And the dads get along which is always a plus.
What a good day! First a birthday party, then the train station museum, pizza and cookies for dinner, and a movie/blanket night in a cozy homemade bedroom theater. Does. Not. Get. Better.
I decided to leave out the photos from dress up time. Gotta preserve their manlyness. As soon as I came in with the camera they started shedding the glitter and glam asap! So cute--so fun.
