How I Earn my Churro

It starts with meal planning and list making. I strategize which area of Costco I'll hit first and which area has to be last. I long ago graduated from cart to flat. Let me tell you, balancing all this on a flat, keeping cold stuff together and keeping the bread and eggs from getting smashed, all while making sure Owen is still with me and out of trouble is no small task.

And the mismatched flip flops that Owen picked out of the shoe bin--just noticed as I posted this. Hey--at least they are on the right feet.

Then there's the Extreme Tetris game I play while I load it all into the back of the suburban.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I deserve the $1.69 Diet Coke and Churro I enjoy as I sit in the driver seat, finding a favorite song and taking a quick breather before I drive home and unload it all.
