I'm not very good at unpredictable.
Needless to say, we are still living at my parent's.
I've been a little crabby lately. Even during the holidays. I've been trying hard not to be, but I'm not very good at faking things either.
So I've decided to attempt a new strategy. Yesterday it worked. I've decided to just do what's fun for today.
So since it was a gorgeous 74 degrees we went to the beach.
This photo taken by Luke. You can see his shadow, so he's kind of in the picture too.
I smiled at the simple pleasures, like watching Owen smile at his ball and suction racket.
I don't have my own house to enjoy, so I found my favorite house of the day to enjoy. I love the green trim around the windows. And that perfect second story balcony. Maybe one night I would sleep out on it. The boys would shoot spit wads off it or water balloons. I'd have to watch out for that.
It was a gorgeous sunset.
Besides the surfers and body surfers, I got to watch these guys. They stood on their long boards and paddled out with oars to catch waves. Looked like fun. We might need some of those someday.

Ahh you inspire me as I go through the same stuff! I hate house buying and selling! It is so stressful! Ok I'm not yelling anymore. Thanks for the good read.
74 degrees sounds lovely.
I am loving California through your eyes. Keep enjoying the day.
Jessica! It's Jylaire (Cooper) Thorell. My mom told me about your blog from your Facebook acct. Your family is beautiful! It's great to see you after all these years!

Jessica, I just realized that you are a "follower" on our blog. I guess that means that you don't think I am a freak because I read yours...being that you are a Forsgren...we really are almost family :) You are one inspiring gal...love reading your insights. One of these days I will write inspiring blog posts too. :)
Love the photo with Luke's shadow! We have a photographer in the making. Wish Harrison & I were with you feeling the sand between our toes.
