A Win-Win-Win
This is one of my best ideas ever. Luke loves to cut with scissors. So I give him the recycle bin with all the junk mail in it. I bought him a child size pair of scissors and it's hours of free entertainment. He cuts out the produce, the houses in the real estate guide, all sorts of things. Luke wins, the environment wins, and I win, Luke is happily busy. ( = So far only the dogs and one stuffed animal have received an unwanted hair cut.

"win win win" it's funny made me think of that. what a great idea!
Good for you letting your kid use scissors. I am still scissor deficient (I actually got a progress report in preschool for it). My Mom says it is because she was afraid I'd cut all my "long pretty hair" (her words). I really have to try hard to make something look like a 3 year old didn't cut it out.
