Love is in the Air

It's Spring. And it sure feels like Spring. The sun is shining, the days are getting longer. It was 88 degrees yesterday!

But mostly it feels like Spring due to new love. My sister is engaged!! She met Aaron New Years and they have spent just about everyday together since. He is her perfect match. It's so great to see her so happy. They will be married Saturday June 26, 2010 in the Newport Beach Temple.

Here's a shot from the little family engagement party we had for them on Sunday. Amy made the cake and all the ladies sang to them. (Hope the video of that never surfaces.)

My super talented cousin-in-law made this great "Save the Date" video for them. They posted it on Facebook last night.

Julia and Aaron Save the Date from Julia & Aaron on Vimeo.

Aaron is from Provo, UT. He graduated from Provo HS and now teaches English there. He served a mission in England. He's the oldest of 5, went to BYU for undergrad and grad school. He LOVES soccer, played in HS, played for BYU and now coaches for Provo High. I just met him this last weekend and from what I can tell he is smart and thoughtful. He's very outdoorsy--fishes, hunts, hikes, etc. He told me about being chased by a grizzly bear this last weekend--crazy scary story. He's handy too--he owns his own place and is fixing it up. As you may already be able to tell, my boys worship him. Aaron calls him big Aaron. He has fabulous blue eyes and a great smile. But best of all he LOVES my sister, takes very good care of her, and makes her very happy.

Congratulations you two!!

That is so fun! I am so happy for Julia. She is beautiful, he is handsome, she is fabulous and it sounds like he is too. COngrats to your family! We are so happy and send our love. Tell her if I get an announcement, she gets a gift:)Miss you all. Oh, and the potty training info is possibly the greatest thing I have ever read. YOu should write a book and sell that idea. I bet you would get on Oprah! Ha!
