So I've been at my parent's house for over a month now. For the most part it's great. Free babysitting, free rent (still paying a mortgage in Seattle), plenty of good company, a built in chamber of commerce and concierge desk, extra pets I'm not responsible for (horse, tarantula, and snake), it's not so bad. The boys are having a lot of fun and aren't getting too spoiled. A school and play ground are in the backyard, the beach isn't too far, trips to Aunt Steph's pool. It's a pretty good life.
But when you're on vacation you rarely exercise, you don't necessarily eat very well, you stay up too late talking and watching movies, and you get very little done. You don't make friends with the neighbors or get really settled because your vacation will eventually end. Right? Hmmm . . . not good.
So I went running yesterday and I ordered this. And I figure since it's dvds I can take them with me where ever we end up. Hopefully they come this week because I really am not a fan of running. I'm pretty sore today. I want to join a swim team, but where and how long will it last?
And I've sworn to behave myself and go back to just one cheat day a week.
And we set a temple date for once a month.
Vacations are great, but I recommend under a month. Longer than that and it just starts to feel weird.

I so hear you. When we moved this summer, I took all my hand weights, my yoga mat, and ALL my FIRM dvds. Tony complained every time he had to haul them into a new hotel, but it was the only way. I still ate like crap and stayed up too late, but at least I got a workout in!
Tell me how you like your new system!
That's quite a long vacation. Thanks for the tip to keep it under a month, but I'm not sure I'll ever experience that myself. Sounds like a great break from real life :)
there are tons of people in my ward doing P90X you'll have to tell me how you like it!
Do you like it? I have started T-Tapping! I love it! In a week I already saw results!! I am looking forward to seeing where it takes me! The reason I started T-Tapp is, because after I had Abigail I found myself cheating multiple days a week. T-Tapp is very reasonable for me.
