Teacher Gifts

This season we had a plethora of avocados. Mike cleaned out the trees, re-worked the sprinklers and all his work paid off. It's kind of fun to have a mini avocado orchard in our yard. We have two types--Hass and Fuerte.

We also had a plethora of teachers to give gifts to. Ten teachers to be exact. This all due to job-sharing, a multi-age class, student teachers and teaching assistants.

So, to kill 2 birds, three actually--the project kept the boys positively engaged for quite a while, we gave away avocados this year for Christmas.

All laid out and ready for delivery.

Turned out pretty good huh?

It was heartfelt, personal and inexpensive. Genius. Might need to be a tradtion.

I did also send a couple gift cards in too. Especially to Owen's preschool teacher who takes Owen everyday 7:40 - 1:30 for $65 a month. We need to stay on her good side for Scarlett in a few years.

Salivating over your avocados right now. Oh how I miss them. Not so plentiful here in England.
