What a week we have had! Mike started his new job Monday. I finished up packing up the house, packed some bags and the car, and drove down with the boys via Provo for my sister's graduation. (thanks goodness for the magic of Disney DVDs and car seats that keep kids restrained!) We are all back together again getting temporarily settled at my parent's house. We will stay here until our house sells, it went "live" on the market yesterday. Want to buy it? The house/neighborhood/school hunt begins down here on Monday.
Anyway, to the good stuff. WE GOT A COURT DATE!!! We will go to court September 4th at 1pm at the court house in Seattle. Saturday September 5th we will be sealed in the Seattle temple at 11am. (This is exactly 2 years to the date that we received Aaron and Owen into our family.) The afternoon of the 5th we will have some sort of huge celebration (I'm working on those details--want to help?), and Sunday we will be back to our favorite ward ever for church at 9am to give Aaron and Owen names and blessings. Tuesday September 8th Luke will start kindergarten (his first day of school!) at my mom's elementary school just down the road. Much to look forward to!!
I somehow got a court order to stay here with Mike at my parent's until the adoption weekend. (sometimes social workers really can come through) This is great news, I won't have to be driving back and forth on I-5, because with out the court order I can only be out of state 2 weeks at a time. of coarse after we finalize we are finally free to live as we choose. Yahoo!
It seems things are falling into place and moving forward in all good ways, except that we are already missing our very good friends and family in Seattle. We are counting our many blessings today and are very grateful for all of your and all your love and support.
P.S. Hopefully I'll be able to post some pics from our last few weeks soon. We've been busy and doing fun things. This weekend is a family reunion, Aaron turned 3, Seafair, it's been a busy good month!

Ah, that's the best news!! I was hoping there would be a court date announcement in this post! Glad you are all together again and staying together :)
When I saw your title, I was hoping that it was something about your kid's adoption! Yee Haw! That IS great news. And I hope all goes well for you with selling the home.
