Hahaha! That sounds like a smart decision! Sophie still gets a kick out of putting food in her hair, but it happens few and far between now (thank goodness!).
That's cute! Just wait until they lean over the birthday candles to blow them out, and his hair catches on fire! I guess afro's are pretty flamable. I witnessed this at a friend's party when she turned 12...It was very scary and kinda funny at the same time (She wasn't hurt, of course) :~D
Good thing they don't eat like this forever! Although oatmeal is his favorite, we are going to wait awhile before he starts eating it again.
